SparkBoard is software used by independent home service businesses (pressure washing, lawn care, window cleaning, and similar trades) to manage their customers, jobs, and communications. This page explains the text messaging (SMS) program available through SparkBoard.
A business using SparkBoard may send you two types of text messages:
These messages come directly from the individual business you are a customer of, not from SparkBoard itself. Message frequency varies depending on your service history and the business's use of the platform.
Businesses using SparkBoard collect your consent to receive text messages directly from you, in person or by phone, at the time your contact information is added to their system — typically when you book or complete a service. The business asks you directly using language similar to:
"Is it okay if I text you when the job's done, along with a link to leave a review? I may also send an occasional seasonal reminder. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out."
Your response is recorded with a timestamp in the business's SparkBoard account before any messages are sent to you, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe from future texts from that business. Reply HELP for assistance.
